Jazz on the Grass

Each year, Chicago State University hosts Jazz on the Grass on or off campus, inviting the community to enjoy the current CSU Jazz Band perform. The picnic-like atmosphere is one for connecting with neighbors, family and friends.

In 2024, The Chicago State Jazz Band performed for two exciting events. Both events took place in the amphitheater located behind Douglas Hall. Guests brought their own lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics, and food trucks were on site as well.
